Meredith has been a cycling advocate since 2005 when she was one of the founders of the Peoples’ Pedal Bicycle Sharing Cooperative in Edmonton – a very low budget early prototype of Bike Share. More recently, she served on Cycle Toronto’s board of directors from 2014 to 2017, including 2 years as president. She is an also an environmental lawyer with a passion for the 3Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle) and climate change mitigation and adaptation. She is currently a solicitor at the City of Toronto. She rides a black city bike with rainbow lights and is an all-weather cycle commuter.
